Stop at the official warning before considering a booking

The FDFA warning overrides normal destination enthusiasm. It describes risks that can include unpredictable enforcement, detention, restrictions on expression, surveillance and rapidly changing security conditions. A hotel being open and a reservation platform accepting a request do not make travel advisable.
